Schizophrenia & Psychosis

Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a complex condition that affects perception, thinking, emotions, and self-awareness.
It does not present the same way in everyone — some experience acute psychotic episodes, while others encounter more subtle changes in motivation, clarity, or social withdrawal.

In my practice, a stable therapeutic relationship is at the core.
The goal is to recognize symptoms early, understand them together, and develop pathways to restore stability, confidence, and quality of life.

Treatment includes psychiatric care, psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and close support both in daily life and in medication management.

In addition to medication and psychotherapy, lifestyle plays a crucial role:
Adequate sleep, structured daily routines, physical activity, conscious nutrition, and social stability have been shown to positively influence the course of the illness.

Micronutrients, anti-inflammatory nutrition, and healthy mental habits can further support nervous system regeneration.

Setting boundaries begins with our own thoughts:
How we speak to ourselves, which stimuli we allow in, and the routines we cultivate all significantly affect how stable our internal balance remains.

A holistic approach acknowledges all these levels — psychiatric, psychological, and physical — so that clarity, security, and vitality can be rebuilt in a sustainable way.
