Bipolar Disorder
Bipolar Disorder
Bipolar disorder is characterized by alternating phases of deep depression and episodes of elevated mood, hyperactivity, or irritability.
It affects not only mood, but also sleep, energy, concentration, self-worth, and the stability of the entire nervous system.
In my practice, I focus on precise diagnostics and individualized treatment — with the aim of stabilizing mood fluctuations and improving long-term quality of life.
This includes psychiatric and psychotherapeutic interventions, psychoeducation, medication management, as well as support with daily structure, sleep regulation, and stress management.
Recent studies show that nutrition, micronutrients, and inflammatory processes may play a significant role in bipolar disorders.
Therefore, complementary medical evaluation can be useful when indicated — for example, assessing vitamin D, omega-3 fatty acids, thyroid function, or hormonal balance.
These insights are integrated into a holistic treatment strategy that strengthens both body and mind.
The goal is not just mood stabilization, but the restoration of energy, inner balance, and self-efficacy.
